When we moved into Rio Pequeno in February 1977, busses were this shade of red.

Bus 748 - Lapa-Rio Pequeno used to climb up all the way to Vila Dalva and on its way back to Estrada do Rio Pequeno it would cross a narrow bridge over Rio Pequeno and enter Rua Angelina Russo to turn right again to make its final stop beside Escola Estadual Brasil-Japão. This small bridge was demolished when Avenida Escola Politécnica was built in the early 1990s. 

Rio Pequeno - Santa Cruz metro-station bus 775N. Its trajectory was cut in one-third in the new 21st century. It would go from Rio Pequeno all the way to Santa Cruz metro-station; then it was cut short and would go up to Rua Tabapuã, in Itaim-Bibi, turn right on Rua Dr Renato Paes de Barros, turn right again to Rua Joaquim Floriano, Rua Iguatemi, Avenida Faria Lima... and all the way back to Rio Pequeno again.
