Our street in Rio Pequeno

Rute, Sandra, Ofélia & Yolanda, our Mother circa 1994. The man sweeping his foot-path is Signore Salvatore, a Italian man originally from Naples who lived with his wife Caterina 3 houses up.
This photo was taken in December 1984 on Estrada do Rio Pequeno. Some 30 years later someone has recognized the boy sitting on the kerb next to a VW's Brasilia as being Piruquinha - who used to 'guard' cars against vandalism while their owners were busy buying vegies at the street market (feira).
Photo taken circa 1979: our next door neighbours; from left to right: Ico Tobias & Djanira (husband & wife) who's holding their youngest boy Iquinho Jr., next 2 boys don't belong in the family; Dulcelisa; Betty (holding Fabiana, her sister); next lady (wearing a white is a friend of the family); Now squatting at the front of the picture, from left to right: Rosangela, Solange, Gilberto, Reginaldo and Agnaldo.
